The nine "Releases" / download links across all five pages pointed at
git.badcluster.dev/sysadmin/zephyrftp. That path is not the repo — it
only ever resolved because Forgejo still serves a 307 redirect from the
old username to arelas/zephyrftp (verified: 307 -> arelas, then 200).
Working today, but it breaks the moment that redirect goes away, and
the same sysadmin/ hardcoding was already fixed once elsewhere in
v0.8.19. Repointed all nine at arelas/zephyrftp directly.
Also:
- The hard-coded version fallback moved 0.8.24 -> 0.8.36 (four spots
in index.html: the beta tag, the download heading, and the apt/dnf
example filenames). These only render when latest.php is missing or
the Forgejo API is unreachable; normally site.js overwrites them
from the live release. The live site was already serving the
correct version, so this is the no-JS/degraded path only.
- "attached to the GitHub release" -> "attached to the release".
GitHub is no longer part of this project at all, and that repo has
been deleted; the copy was actively misleading about where builds
come from.
- site.js's comment about "GitHub is unreachable" updated to name
Forgejo, since that is what latest.php has queried since v0.8.19.
- site.js's bytes changed, so its cache-buster is bumped v=4 -> v=5
on all five pages in this same pass, per the standing rule.
- sitemap lastmod refreshed to today on all five, since all five
genuinely changed.
Verified before deploy: every external link on every page resolves 200
(the only non-200s are the two bare preconnect origins, which are DNS
hints, not navigable). Rendered under a real headless Chromium against
a local http server (never file://, which breaks the absolute CSS
paths): all four data-version spans read 0.8.36, every download href
reads arelas/, zero failed requests, zero console errors.
